Frequently Asked Questions

Can I capture a full scrollable page?

Yes. Screenshot & Annotate offers a full-page capture mode that scrolls through the entire page and stitches together a complete screenshot, even for very long pages.

How does the blur tool work?

Select the blur tool from the annotation toolbar, then drag over any area you want to redact. The blur is applied before saving, so the original content is never included in the exported image.

Can I copy screenshots directly to my clipboard?

Yes. After capturing and annotating your screenshot, you can copy it directly to your clipboard with one click - ready to paste into emails, documents, or chat messages.

What annotation tools are available?

There are 10 annotation tools: arrows, text, rectangles, circles, lines, freehand draw, highlighter, blur, numbering, and color picker. Each tool has adjustable color, stroke width, and font size.

Does it work on all websites?

It works on most websites. Some browser-internal pages (like chrome:// URLs or the Chrome Web Store) restrict extension access due to Chrome's security policies.
